Yes to this video!!! Lord KNOWS that I've been struggling to detangle my hair without breakage. I'm always on the hunt for ways to eliminate excess breakage. Let me get comfy... 😍

@@FineNaturalHairandFaith Yes, will do! I need to get like you again and return to using my latex gloves! It really does make a difference. And I also like you're method of fingers first, seamless wide tooth comb second, detangling brush last! I have both the brush you used and the Felicia Leatherwood brush but I've gotten so used to my Felicia Leatherwood that I've never tried the other one. I'll definitely be giving it a try on my next wash day! Great video btw!!!!!

@@FineNaturalHairROCKS I think you will like the cheapie brush better than FL. Hers just doesn’t have enough give for me

Hi Michelle, great tips. I don't wash my hair standing in the shower when I have to deep condition. I have to get out the shower, dry off, and sit under a dryer, then get back in the shower to rinse off the product and get wet up all over again. I have the same brush in mint green, didn't know the bar was for adjustments.💛

You know you say you haven't got a lot of density, I think you have, your hair maybe fine but you've got lots of it. I never let my hair get dry and knotted that's just too much work. I oil my hair, finger comb through (can't really call it detangling), comb through with a comb and then brush through to get rid of the shed hairs. Then I cut out and fairy knots or split ends, then washing process begins. I'm looking forward to watching more if your content, I like the tip about the gloves.
@FineNaturalHairandFaith2 жыл бұрын
Oh no it’s really not dense. It can appear that way when I let my natural curl pattern dry but it’s more medium density. Not low but definitely not a lot. I will show in a future video

Hmm do you have a video that demonstrates more in detail about the reverse combing method. I may try this again with comb but I'm nervous. If it doesn't work, comb will just be nonexistent for me.
@FineNaturalHairandFaith2 жыл бұрын
I don’t have a specific video but I do it in all my hair washing videos. Large tooth comb after using fingers first. Check one of my recent shorts where I’m doing it in slow mo

Do you use conditioner in your water spray bottle? What oil softened best?
@FineNaturalHairandFaith2 жыл бұрын
I didn’t but you can do that. Just have to be careful it doesn’t clog the sprayer. Almond and olive oil is good but I really like this one from Melanin Hair Care as it’s a blend of oils formulated to soften and nourish the hair
