Just for a future reference - there is no need to cut the carpet like square, because it is already precut as a circle around the pumps. You can see the perforation on your video when you flip the carpet.

Hi, I'm getting issues with my Audi Q7 4.2 FSI Petrol V8 2010 after changing the fuel filter from the left side (2nd row under seat). When I try to start the car it just cranks, when I reopened the fuel filter housing it seems no fuel is entering it. What could be the issue pls.. Do you reckon its the fuel pump on the right side pipe came off or any fuse? Cos the yellow connecter did fall in the tank but I reconnected it by just wiping, could that be a issue too? Thx

I also had a similar issue with a porsche cayenne and a customer brought it from the dealership they changed the fuel pump and after that he was having issues with a hard start. checked fuel pressure and it started building up slowly. well short story was that they put a hose connected in the wrong side they ended up connecting the pressure side in the return line so I would advise to check that first.

I'm having a similar problem, it cranks but doesmt start after been running well, I think is the fuel pump as I dont hear it went i turn the key without the pedal pressed in. In your case, !ade sure you put the filter the right way around as they are 1 direction...

@@JVFIXLLC thank you for your reply. I have issue when trying to hot or cold start the touareg where it cranks for 7sec when hot and worse during cold. But once the engine started, no issue or lack power. I guess the secondary pump might be the issue, What do you think?
