I’m finally gonna dye my luxe special bundles I bought months ago. Had to come back to rewatch the video. I’m so excited 🤗

These flowers are so fancy I couldn’t see myself dying them dark colors.

The details will still shine through even in the darker tones

Do the flowers get soft and pliable after using the spray ?

I'm hoping for a dark and moody pallet because my darker colors (black, deep purple, navy blue) keep coming out more patchy than I'd like! I don't seem to have the same issue with lighter colors - or if I do, it is less noticeable!

The darker tones I find more paint less water for my mix (so I make sure to glad glycerin as well) also adding the smallest amount of black into the purples, blues, reds really helps deepen those colors just a little though because otherwise it overtakes the colors.

thank you for this! i have a whole mess of peonies for my wedding that i'm leaving raw but still want to treat with softener. do you find that this effects the softness of the treated flowers at all?
@OhYoureLovely Жыл бұрын
the mod podge will make them a little crunchy so if you are wanting to keep them raw I wouldnt treat them at all and keep them natural they are soft on their own and will hold their shape

Putting them on skewers was a good hint! The first time I tried I was covered and ruined my nails!!

skewers for the win for sure!

Light and airy would love to see, I feel that the lighter colors have been hard to do, to get colors and keep them on the lighter side. I would LOVE to see you door a door swag, something a bit different than a wreath, You could do seasonal ones as a series. A welcome door sign with Sola flowers. One with the word welcome either in wood or metal or both. T=Oh there you go a series of welcome signs or door swags or something. Would love to see where your imagination takes it

What portion of dye,water and softer do u use?
@OhYoureLovely Жыл бұрын
I do a 1 to 1 ratio of water and paint with a splash of glycerin (comes to a ratio similar to 1 part glycerin to 8 parts paint/water)
