very interesting and well thought out video. i have my left air roll and right air roll on LB/RB respectively, but i never use normal air roll even though i have it bound on X. watching this video made me realize how much of a use normal air roll actually has in gameplay, even though i mainly only use air roll left and then use my air roll right for recoveries. i might actually rebind some controls and just tank the MMR. thanks for sharing the insightful coaching session, sky

Yes, I believe that normal air roll is really helpful for the smaller adjustments that need to be super precise. I love the thought process, in the end you will be a much better player so keep at it!

nice nice video!! i love the deep dive into how to properly use and learn this mechanic. i saw this at the perfect time because even though i’m not new i still haven’t learned directional air roll correctly. and after some realization, i know that it will take a few months to get this down. anyway, the effort in this video is insane! keep up the uploads because you are helping so many people and you will make it big

Once you master dir air roll, start tapping the air roll button, it will give you immense additional control and help you get out of tight places. The "Ganer method" of fully boosting and air rolling constantly is great for this "tapping training".

Because it is waaaaay too shallow. All the overhead "what is it" / "why is it useful" / "bind it" everyone who searches for this stuff already knows, and when it comes to "how to learn" all he's got is "it's a feeling". For a real good tutorial (but be warned, it's a full movie and I'm not even exaggerating) look up the Losfeld method. Pretty much the only guy actually breaking it down.

This is pretty good, nice training regimen. May I give some criticism?
@CaitofFate6 ай бұрын
I assume by the heart you mean I may. I like how you break it down, but in the end you kinda just say "idk do stuff and you'll figure it out" Theory about how inputs actually register, and drills to put it into practice are key to understanding how to improve more quickly. 3 years experience skateboarding coach btw.

I’m so confused by this part 15:14 .. When I watch KZbinrs or streamers they’re like moving their analogs in circles. (Yes they know what they’re doing) It’s just confusing. Subbed.

I got my directional air roll left bind to left analog stick (when i press it in) is this a good bind or should i change it to a button or trigger, is this a disadvantage? I use xbox 1 controller
