Same here! That helped a lot and I dislike RCS because it always prevented me from sending out messages and I would have to convert them to texts anyway. I fail to see the point of this feature seeing as it doesn't work as designed in the first place

Thanks a lot. 9 out of 10 times the message with rcs wasn't sent. At least notify immediately that the message wasn't sent in order to use another method. It can't be that hard.

This is good, I just turn off mine today. It doesn't send out automatically via sms if you are not online, and other that that, if the other people is on RCs, and your not online, you cant receive text message either. The other person must send it regular text to avoid delay response on from your end. Bottom line: You should be online always,

Thanks! Somehow this useless "feature" was turned on for one person in my contacts, not the rest. Needless to say, this one very important person was only sporadically receiving my messages. Without me ever knowing, of course. I have no idea why it was only for one contact, but this should cure it. I have the same sense of victory that you get from finally swatting a fly that's been buzzing around your house, the one that always vanishes when you get something to hit it with.

This RCS drove me crazy...in my sixty's and don't text much or receive!!! It appeared one day and followed this video, but it would not work. I ended up going into the three dots at top of " messages " and uninstall update that's what finally worked. I had recently turned the phone off and back in and it was there.
