My 98 Gt came with one stock🎉

Same here. Thought that’s as weird considering cobras, Mach 1 & bullittt were only ones that came with it

thanks for the great video - finally replacing this and the o-ring on the shaft keeps breaking when inserting it into the housing. I used silicone paste and still breaks. Just ordered a kit from LMR and they include 2 small shaft o-rings bc they're so prone to breaking. Any tips on how to insert it safely?

Put bearing grease on it and it should slide on better.

For some reason I can’t get the core out of the oil cooler. Any other tips or tricks I can try? This is my second time trying to disassemble it as I skipped this part the first time around and ran into the same problems
@TheModAddict Жыл бұрын
I stick a small flat tip in the holes and pry easily working my way around.

@@TheModAddict I’ve been at it doing that for a while now still can’t get it to budge for some odd reason

@@izzyv9087 get mad at it. Use a rubber mallet and give it a couple of wacks.
@izzyv9087 Жыл бұрын
Would that not damage the aluminum? That’s what I’m worried about there’s already a ton of scratches and grooves from me applying more and more pressure
@TheModAddict Жыл бұрын
Wrap tape around the pry device. And a rubber mallet wont hurt it.

I rebuilt it, oil is now streaming out of pin hole. What gasket is suspect?
@TheModAddict Жыл бұрын
The smaller one in the middle is what id suspect.

Lmr's kit has two of those o-rings because they are so prone to ripping. I use axle grease on mine to help it slide in.
