Was thinking about keeping a 2nd battery for my phone and swapping it out when it needs charging, yet after watching you take almost three minutes & a heat gun to just take the back off I don't think I'll bother. Yet I appreciate a slim phone yet being unable to swap batteries isn't worth it.

Hi. I submitted xa in service centre due to battey issue. After collecting the device, i found that the front camera sometimes shows error and sometimes it works, to which i thought to be a software issue. So within 2 months of repair, my phone went entirely dead, so after submitting in service centre again (in warranty), the service centre dissambled the device and found that the camera module connector was cut in one side and they refused to consider camera in warranty. The excuse they gave me was that, "why didn't i informed the service centre immediately about it." Can you suggest something or what should i do? What is the cost of the front camera module?

It's not about Sony the service center do the strange things. They blame you, but if you didn't sign anything that you should inform them about this situation, you can send them to hell and demand a proper attitude.

Back cover is open at the side and bottom plus they refused to give me service job sheet number. So i have a doubt that service centre replaced my phone with old one. Now when i talked about taking legal action, they sent me the job sheet number just a moment ago (which says your device is ready for pickup). It sounds fishy to me. Definitely they replaced my device with old one, but the guy at service centre is saying that it was in the same condition when he received it, which is not true. And he agreed to get the damaged parts (camera lens, back cover and simtray) replaced. But what about the internals like motherboard and charging port which he replaced through repair, what if he had put duplicate or low quality ones? Kindly help

vremonte24.ru Yes i think it's some kind of fraud. The statement they gave me isn't convincing. Today i went to service centre to get my back cover replaced and i told the guy there to open the back panel in front of me and there wasn't any seal that you peeled at 4:40 and there were dents on that silver thing and on the brown connector. When i enquired about it, they said it's normal if your motherboard is being replaced. It gave me another feeling that it's not my device but old. Tell me is that seal necessary there and is it normal to have dents on that thing which is under that seal?

The silver covers could be dented when the covers were lifted (or levered) off where were repair of microchips. The PCB can be replaced - if a specialist doesn't see other ways but they must give you a warranty, no doubt. I see here two contradictions - if the board was replaced, why it has repair traces. PS better stick the heat-sink-copper-layer up.

Hola, si usarás la pistola de calor con cuidado. No lo hará. Elija la temperatura correcta, 70-80C será adecuado para principiantes (la baja temperatura ayuda a evitar errores). Pero si tiene alguna dudas, no lo haga, deje que esto lo haga un especialista para usted. If you will use the heat gun carefully. It won't. Choose the temperature correctly, 70-80C will be suitable for novices (the low temp helps avoid mistakes ). But if you have any piece of doubt don't do it, let this be done by a specialist for you.
