where is the internal storage disk situated? My screen broke and no longer reacted despite reset and hard reset with charger. I decided to buy the same model secondhand and exchange the motherboard where I hope the internal storage is situated or are there any other parts i should exchange like the sub motherboard where the sim card holder is situated? I just want to retrieve all my stored files and photos.

@@karankochhar3441 Yes actually, I bought the exact same model secondhand online and just swapped the screen. It not only worked but also recognised my finger print immediately and I was able to access all my files etc. It was a risk but I then reasoned that in worst case I had a replacement phone cheaper than trying to get it repaired or buying a new one. .... However phone worked fine for severav months until a new problem arised ..... it could no longer read or detect my simcard. Due to urgency I just went a bought the Xiaomi 10 5 G but despite being a newer version I still prefer the 9t were basically everything else still works perfectly. I also had a simiiiar simcard failure problem with a samsung phone from my work. While smart phones progress they seem vulnerable for the first and foremost purpose they were designed for ....making a phone call :/

But when I will be opening my unit, is there something I can look for ie a loose connection or something before completely changing out the screen? Thanks

If I disassemble my phone for the first time, how will I be able to tell if any parts have been damaged in any way, not necessarily during the disassembling? Would it be straightforward and clear? Or is there something I have to watch out for?

It is important, do not to overheat the device. When separate the cover try not to pry the instrument deeply. You can damage the cables under the cover. Hi, we don't have a schematic for this model. The antenna lines stretch through the covers and frames of the phone. It's difficult to say which ones belong to the WiFi. So, first of all, check the spring contacts or clean them.

Hi, you need to ensure that the new battery is working well. So, you should connect the old battery and see the percentage (rise and fall) on display when the smartphone is working. If the old one is working fine, you may conclude the new battery is defective.
