Thanks a lot for the clear audio and video! Seriously.. I wanna ask tho. If I want to operate on the main board (not the one connected to the tube) would it now be safe? Do i have to disconnect the tube cable that you just discharged? and and... I have seen some people "de-vacuum" it no idea why but in my case, do i need to do this? I just wanna change caps on the main board and the IR sensor.

I was looking for the same answer lol, because its my first time working on a tv/vcr combo one, and I wanna repair the vcr part, but to do that I wanna safely discharge it and unsolder the ground and other connectors before I could get to it lol. Im assuming we do since its connected to it and to the flyback, and that is the main thing with high voltage through it

@@Glorious.Return I hope so hahah. I heard the devacuuming or vacuum release, is so that it doesnt implode when its being disposed.
