Attempting a dropshot from the baseline? dont you want to be further inside the court when attempt a DS???

Not necessarily. Usually i just step into the court shortly before hitting the ball to disguise the DS as long as possible.

What you’re saying makes sense, but the main idea of this video is reacting to your opponent’s drop shot. So the blue player’s DS can be ignored in this video. Also, what I taught can be used when your opponent hits the top of the net too. Thanks!
