How to: Dishoom's Black Dal

Ever wondered how to make that iconic dish from Dishoom? Well ponder no more. Dishoom's black dal is far easier than you could possibly imagine to make and it is simply divine. This is far more luxurious than normal dal - the addition of butter and cream really gives this dish a texture to die for - and I promise that it is nice and simple to make.
Dishoom have released the recipe for their black dal in both their cookbook and online (tinyurl.com/di...) but a recipe doesn't make itself! This video should hopefully give you some idea of what you are looking for at each step of the process and like all my videos, is speech free so all you need to focus on is what is happening with the food!
