How To Dismantle And Assemble A Fellowes Paper Shredder

My Fellowes model P70CM having been kept over 15 years although lightly used broke down recently after a paper jam happened. Regardless of clearing the jammed paper with a tweezer and that the motor was working the shredder still did not turn. After I opened it to check, it was the shredder gear which was made of nylon had worn out. A new shredder gear for P70CM which I found out from the internet costed £12.85 plus postage. At the end, I decided to make the paper shredder obsolete and then bought a secondhand Fellowes one at less than the cost of a new shredder gear and it works fine. When it happens a paper jam in the paper shredder, never pull the jammed paper out by force, this can cause the nylon gear damaged very easily and the shredder will become useless.
The bird sound at the background is my cockatiel. He likes to be noisy as always 😂
