Hello Simon, have one small request, if you can do the same tutorial using capacitor, it will be really helpful. I am really struggling with setting large icon (one that sticks to the right of the notification in Android) using FCM Push Notification, then I realize it can be achieved using data message from FCM and that's too with Local Notification, and now I am struggling with creating custom Local Notification using Capacitor (as I am not using Codorva in my project). Last but not the least thank you for the videos that you publish on Ionic, I have learnt a lot following your tutorials. Thank you. :)

Hi @Simon, I want to have to types of notifications, with the native sound of the notification, and one with the sound that I want to add. The only way to change the sound was on capacitor.config.js, I tried with creating channels and it plays only the native sound of the phone, it didn't work when I change the sound. Normally local notifications are added to the system, so they should pop up anyways! Otherwise you could also check out Push notifications!

What you mean by multiple triggers? You should only have this one trigger block and inside handle what should be done based on the data of the notification!

That can't be done with local notifications and also not simply in one app. You have to use a service like OneSignal for that as well.

I think I would manually schedule for all the other days with their name/number and just leave out the Sunday! That means you need to call schedule 6 times but then it should work :)

In that case you would have to call the getAll function yourself whenever you receive a notification, it's apparently not an Observable to which you could subscribe :)

I think you have a small chance to run code, but I wouldn't count on it. Also if the app is closed, you need to make sure the push can actually "awake" the app in the background which might not work very well.

Maybe you are not using the Promise correctly? Because the plugin always returns a promise so you have to wait for the result before using it in an if/else!

Well why not use Cordova? Both are legit, but Capacitor is still in beta so I don't create a bunch of tutorials on using it as they will be outdated soon! But of course everyone can give capacitor a try, it's great and will be awesome once it reaches a stable version.
