Girllllll you are the real MVP for this!!!! my beloved traveler just molded, I have a new lid coming but I needed a good solution to disassemble it so I don’t have the same thing happen with the new one. @@brookehieronimus9482 sorry just saw this! I contacted customer service, sent them a pic of the lid & my order number & they sent me a new one free of charge. Their customer service takes a day or two to reply but they are super nice & helpful!

@@ritz8918 they sent it to me free bc it molded very quickly after buying it. I emailed customer service & sent of a pic of the molded lid along with my order # and they got a replacement sent off to me ASAP

I put it in hot tap water for about 1 minute and did it with a little force. But it worked out great!! Thank you for this needed video!! Thank 🎉🎉🎉 ❤

THIS IS EVERYTHING! HydroJug needs to put you on their payroll. Not even HydroJug customer service knows how to clean these. I have like 5 travelers/sport travelers and haven’t been able to clean them well enough so I stop using them

do you mean the straw from the bottom? or the top one?... if you are talking about the bottom one all you do is pull and should come off easily if you have the same cup..if talking about the top my husband helps with that one or I can make a video on how I have been able to pop it off myself.

Mine went in the trash after molding. After discovering the straw pops off I was able to clean it BUT the second time both the straw and lid cracked. The straw and lid will crack and break if not the first time then the next. I’m so disappointed with this jug and company. I even soaked the lid in hot bleach water but it still got moldy. I refuse to continually order new lids from a company who made a lid that molds and is almost impossible to keep clean. Hydro Jug needs to do better.

Use long screw driver and put it down the drinking spout and push forward, the same way they did with their hands. It will pop right out

im not sure mine also started after almost a year turn white but honestly if it brakes or gets extremely moldy at the end of either situation we would have to buy a new top and now they offer that. unfortunately instead of a solution to be able to clean it properly smh....more money ...

you have to bend the rubber part into a taco and then push with a straw or something that will not punctured the plastic hope that helps

@@madismith73 I think you just have to be careful with your hand because it does hurt. It’s a very hard push hence why my husband did it in the first place but once you do it and it does not break it .it starts getting easier. Try at your own risk though.
