i luv it, if anyone has all this equipment they can probably do this already, for us with a hack saw and a warm glue we're out of luck...

I hear ya, the tools that I have just make it faster to do work like this, but you could totally build a version of this with basic hand tools. It might just take a little longer!

Hey there bud. Really think you guys did a awesome job. It inspired me to try making 1 for a friend. Not much of a carpenter so hoping you’d answer a question. I cut the rabbit, at a 1/4 in lip for the plywood to rest on, but when it comes to 45ing the corners, in having trouble understanding how to compensate. If it’s a 48 in board, would my inside measurement be 47 7/8 or 47 1/2 to compensate for the 1/4 in lip? I started measuring the outside length and that was a bad idea, now I’m measuring the inside to get my speed square out to draw a 45 degree mark and it’s baffling me. I’d appreciate a pro tip. Thanks and god bless

Did I miss something? How do you lock it?

Awesome build man! However, if I was to do this myself I would have preferred that the RGB-diode did not reflect in the door like that. Any idea how this could be countered somehow?

Thanks so much! After living with this for a while i wish I would've got different LED's. These ones didnt have a true white light, it just turns on all the colors. So I'd start with that. Maybe there would be some way to build in a diffuser over the lights too, that way it'd at least soften and disperse the light and maybe help with reflections. Let me know what you think!

@@valorickworkshop9761 Yeah that might work! Maybe if you got some very thin "shaded" plexy strips to lay on top of the diode

How are the LEDs powered? Are they plugged in the wall behind the case or battery powered?
@valorickworkshop97613 жыл бұрын
I have them plugged in just under the case but battery powered leds would be a great idea!
