Thank You for watching this (How To DIY Low Buck Camp Awning Video)! It's been awhile since my last video, my goal is to make more videos and post more often. I'm also trying to learn more about editing. I have already learned a little, but as you will see I do still make mistakes. My hope is that this video may give you some ideas.
Thanks again for watching!

Wow thanks! I would love to meet up, but unfortunately I cannot do much at all due to current financial situation. When things change I hope we can meet up on the trail somewhere for sure! Time will tell. Until then, Thank You Fresh Jets for the offer.

Where did you get your tarp?

karen keller I got it at REI, about 10 about 12 years ago. Don,t worry they still sell them! Mine is a 9.5 x 12 by Outdoor Products. I think that they are 45 or 50 dollars. I think they are on line too. They do cost more than basic blue tarp, but much lighter and less bulky and they seem to last quite well. I went with the grommet holes it came with and it worked great, but after adding extra ones the tarps configuration possibilities increased a lot. Thanks for asking and watching. I hope It helps! See ya on the trails.

karen keller How does it perform with such a flat pitch when it starts raining hard, other thing you call your metal posts 1x 2, would that be 1x 1x 2 mm wall thickness. I’m on the other side of the world but I like what you have done,

Lots of people make things more complicated than need be... like your design.... a couple of poles, some rope, and a tarp.....

Thanks for watching the video. Hopefully it was helpful. Videos are harder to make than they look. I quit drinking 12 years ago, thanks for asking.
