how to DIY rc fan from lipo balancing plug

up to you what to chose, connect to lipo balancing plug or use a ubec ( external bec is like a step down transformer, this ubec i use can be powered ny 2-6s lipo, it then will convert it to 5v or 6v)

If u do this I think 1 cell would get drain more than the other 1 could that cause a problem

Does the battery have to be fully charged. I tried plugging my fans into a 2s lipo balance lead and they didn’t power up. Any suggestions

check the fan working voltage if 7.4v is in range

thanks, its AVC 4028 12v 1.00A, i got it from aliexpress, if you ant a shoter one, try to serch ysido 16000rpm, quite good too

How to protect lipo to undercharge? after some minutes stops and check cells only:)

Hi, you can buy a lipo alarm, to be plug in he balance lead, you can se it to a certain voltage which will set the alarm off if one of he cell reach the se value (3.3v), hen its time to charge, and better to have a smart charger to ensure the balance of each cell
