I do the first one for years.You can do multiple selection ppl with the first method,just do a stop with your pinky and than proceed with your ring finger and middle one.When you turn over there will be "stairs" and all selections will be visible. Also,X didn't mention it,when you do riffle cards,and take pinky break,don't forget to pres with your left pointer upper righr edge of the deck toward yourself.The break will be totally invisible.

Finding your channel has been awesome. You teach great stuff, I love that it's not all easy. Perfect for intermediate or advanced card handlers. You have the best content on KZbin for magic. Thanks.

I wasn't sure if i wanted to keep following your feeds, then you go and drop the deck. Dude, you won me over. If someone who practices as much as you, still drops the deck like i do, well it just made me feel like i can be as good as you some day. :)

Some solid peeks here Xavier. I really like the first two, especially the bubble peek. Definitely added to my repertoire. I really like that you touch on the fact that these are techniques, not effects, which is something I love to discuss, that techniques make effects, and effects make routines. The imagination is a powerful tool, use it.

Just stumbled on your card peek video. I really like you young man. Your presentations are cool and precise. I've been doing card magic for over 20 years. I've developed a few good peeks... without devices and can be done by lefties like myself. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Keep up the great work.

I thought it was hilarious when you dropped the cards. So I should it to my father who was sitting just next to me. Just after I practiced the peek and dropped the cards all over the floor, I burst out laughing saying I was trying to do the same thing! My father said, well you did ! LOL

Once I peek a card, I have them shuffle the deck, and I use The Advocate. It blows them away, because they can't explain any of it.

A glimpse and a peek are inherently different. A glimpse is spotting the bottom card (usually for key card effects) a peek is spotting a selected card

Until now i never really learned peeks because i just feel that the card tricks that give me the greatest reactions are the ones including something visual...i haven't found an revelation effect after a peek yet, that really strikes me...a color change or triumph will always get better reactions,than secretely knowing which card they chosen. The spectators seem to les have the "hoe is that possible" thinking. What do you think?
@benjaminbrown75807 жыл бұрын
I agree with all you said!
@edenyeigh13257 жыл бұрын
I feel like it really depends, if I'm doing an effect like double exposure, I prefer to have it as a thought of card than a chosen card to I either sight force the card or use a peek
