Brilliant. Your instruction and method of teaching tricks on a wakeboard is truly unparalleled. You've helped me advance my wakeboarding skill from snowboarding to the water in only a few days worth of riding behind our previous deck boat. We just purchased a 2016 Mastercraft X20 and I CANNOT wait to use all of your instructional videos to take my wakeboarding to the next level both safely and gradually. Appreciate your videos more than you could know!

Can you do this with fins on the board? if so, how does the technique differ?
@Shaun.Murray5 жыл бұрын
Smaller fins, yes. Just need to make sure youre putting good pressure into releasing the fins by pushing on your back foot

@@Shaun.Murray Dude, you inspire me....I'm turning 45 next month and have finally mastered (well...what I believe to be mastered) 180's and now I'm going for 360's this weekend. Nothing beats taking my daughter's out on the Malibu and getting them on the wakeboard.

Good times w the fam. I just pulled my daughters and the neighbor boys full length ropes, on wakesurfers, about 12 mph, 4 at a time. Can be a bit of a mess at times but they love it. It's what we call belly boarding. @@adammlynarek8375

This is the first major trick that I'm learning on a wakeboard (I can clear the wake and do 180's). I can land it between the wakes now. I hear what you're saying about it being the same thing in the middle of the wakes as it is to do it while clearing, but there's definitely an element of mental here that makes it challenging. Can I shorten the rope, or will that not give me enough time to both clear and land the spin? Or do I just need to send it?
@Shaun.Murray2 жыл бұрын
Keep the rope pretty long for a while, 65-70’, speed around 18-19 while jumping one wake going pretty far before landing. No weight on the boat. Just learn to hold body position and maintain connection while doing this. Also, soft landings. Once you’re going pretty far and able to land gently, shorten the rope to 50-55 feet and speed around 20. Then try wake to wake

Is no one doing no handed 360s? That was my favorite trick ever. It was done on the shafted video. But i search no handed 360 on youtube and theres nothing!
@Shaun.Murray2 жыл бұрын
Do you mean wrapped or osmosis? Know the difference? I like that you're bringing this up either way!
@trevorpeterson84332 жыл бұрын
@@Shaun.Murray not wrapped its like the first trick done on the intro to shafted off the double up. Its pretty sick looking.

You see what im talking about. I love all you videos. I watch you every night and i appreciate all the replys. But will you do a video demonstrating that no handed 3
@Shaun.Murray2 жыл бұрын
@@trevorpeterson8433 I think I understand! Osmosis 540 and did it off the heelside double up most likely. That's the first way I landed it and might've been in that video. I was the first one to do it but Colin Wright was the first one to try it and he was calling it an osmosis 5 when he was trying it. First person to land a trick gets to name it and I liked what he was calling it so I called it what he was calling it. He was a sick rider! Check him out.
