Love the aerial shots! Gives a good idea on the line and how hard a certain cut really is. Great that you show both left and right side also! Sick work boys 🤟

Are there any tricks i can try to kind of prepare myself for the backroll?

Hey guys, all your content is AWESOME! Question - can we have more information on where and how to do the tricks on a 2 point?

Perform the backroll coming in towards one of the towers for the most lift! The technique is exactly the same!

Should I stomp the water with the back foot? I can't get enough high and I'm hard crashing because of that. Clearly I'm not popping but I'm not sure how to do that

Can't wait to go for the backroll. But I was wondering: I'm riding a fairly big board (155). Is a more wider stance more helpfull to edge/cut or is it mainly the proper technique?

Any idea about my question?
@ThePeacockBrothers Жыл бұрын
It’s mainly down to technique but stance is usually personal preference and what feels good for you! It can take a few tries to figure out the cut anyway and you can usually easily adjust it to make up for a difference in stance

Really fighting with this. I learned it before the raley (the other airtrick I can do), but do it less and less good: shorter cut, very fast rotation and little height. It looks more like a back edge belair than a raley scoop... And it's not safe, end of last season I teared off my front boot (yeah, separated the boot from the plate on a rad boot!) and my back leg muscle (cause one footed rotation) because of the short front heavy scoop: my board did dig too much and suctioned so strong the boot got destroyed). Never got this with raley, which I get higher and higher, but if I try the raley scoop for a backroll I get stuck mid rotation and that hurt too... Maybe it's because I am not strong enough for keeping my arms bent when doing a raley scoop?

Try to load up your back foot a little bit more and make sure to have a nice progressive edge! If you rush the edge / scoop you can take that front edge!

Thanks. Will try it, even if too much backfoot often result in a slippery scoop (not sure it's clear, it's when the scoop have little power because it semi-slip instead of really digging in the water and sending you up.), resulting in no height. Backroll seems tricky, I feel the arm locked in 90 degree bent are important, but for this I need to gain muscle and loose fat😂
