That soft palate might play a huge role in Bugs Bunny’s resonance. I watched a significant number of shows with Bugs Bunny and I found his voice to be excessively nasalized like maybe Squidward or Patty and Selma. I mean you can literally hear Bugs’ dropped palate directly from television. SpongeBob for example has nasal resonance but only a certain amount to assist with making his voice bright. Bugs Bunny however, his voice is excessively nasalized. A ton of the words he says has nasalized sound present in his voice. It’s kinda like doing nasal brightness vs nasalized voice. Or maybe nasal resonance vs nasality.

Donald duck is more complex, due to the fact that you don't use the larynx, vocal cords, or soft palate at all.

It is called buccal speech, and you basically make the voice from the inner cheek, which is then articulated.
