It's not the flexibility you have what you need for this, it's leg speed, it helps a lot

Pretend like ur sitting back on the floor so ur inner thighs are facing frontwards. It takes a lot of practice so don’t get frustrated if you can’t get it right away

Some coaches either don't learn properly or don't care. The important thing is that you know how to do it and how to improve. It is hard

Im trying to get my toe touch before cheer sign ups...when im in the jumping position my legs dont go out very far they kind of stay in ( my legs dont go in the splits they stay kinda stuck together) do you have any tips? sorry for confusing question

I can do my middle splits, and I'm flexible, but when I do my toe touch I have a problem getting the height and into my full straddle. Is that just strength? And if so what would you reccomend to get there?

I practice my toe touch everyday, and I'm not getting ANY better! I can do the splits easily... I don't understand why I can't get it. It just looks like and eagle spread :( I'm not in cheerleading so I have no equipment or training... Do you have any advice??

i can do a rounf off cartwheel handspring back bend ect. i am decent at my jumps i can do a full and im very flexible but for pike and toe touch i cant seem to get the height for them like i can do an oustanding toetouch on my tramp but on land it is not so great any tips on how o get more air?

Try doing your jumps in front of a mirror and really concentrate on keeping your chest up to look at yourself, over time with practice and strength training your legs will follow.

Record yourself doing your stunts and watch them during your training so you can make adjustments to your arm placement during your workouts.

@95Someone95 don't be discouraged. The toe touch takes a lot of balance and explosive jump power. If you feel that you are getting high enough in your jumps then you may take a look at your inner thigh, low back, and hamstring flexibility. Often your flexibility can hold you back in your toe touch.

Often times cheerleaders that can't get their toe touch are not strong enough for the stunt. There are all kinds of exercises we offer on KbandsTraining . com that can help. You may also like to use my Jump30 training dvd. This will help with jumps and strength. Other than that without being able to see your jumps my only advice would be to find a local gymnastics coach and have them start working with you. Hope that helps.

It's all about flexibility. You have to be more flexible in your groin, hips and hamstrings. Go to my training website and look under the training tab. There you will see the cheerleading section. Within that section are several flexibility drills you can use to help.

I can do a bridge from the stand and a split but not very good and a cartwheel just 3 things i'm not in cheerleading or something like that I learnd that at home and i never practice a toe touch but i can do a toe touch xDD

A toe touch is NOT a straddle in the air NOR are your legs to the damn side. Not sure when it became an acceptable form for a toe touch. A toe touch is supposed to be out in front not to the side. Lega should be at hip length. These girls now wanna see who can do the most cringe straddle in the air and it just looks bad. Too many girls don't match up anymore when doing this jump. It was never about who can get their legs behind their ears. They need to go back to the OG toe touch. It looked so much more poise.
