Oooh so this is super cool! You’re skills are so clean and I’ve only seen a few videos before yours. But I was not digging the fade. But yours is so perfect. I cut my sons hair for the first time lol. It wasn’t too bad and I actually really enjoyed doing it. Of course he’s only 3 years old. But I’m looking forward to trying this out or something similar to my oldest son. I thought about going to school for this. But I’m a busy mom of three and work full time so I’m just looking to try this out as a hobby and see how it goes. Maybe I’ll look into school for it next year. But seriously this video really helped. Because I’ve been really fascinated by this kind of style. Thank you and I’m looking forward to seeing more videos of yours.

When "creating" that line with that 2 guard, on the sides I have no problem blending it with the 1.5 guard (or the 1 guard if needed) but on the back of my head I cannot get that line blended out. Not with the 1.5 and also not with the 1 guard. What am I doing wrong? Should I do a different step for the back side?

Make sure the ‘cutting blade’ is actually on the line. Just play with the lever with the 1.5 it should fade out

Make the guidelines a little bigger in the back of the head. You have to spread the blend a little more in the back than you do on the sides. Also use your corners of the blade to take out lines.
