I haven’t had any issues but only use a small amount a little goes a long way

It is so hard to get live daphnia cultures for the LFS's in colorado!

Once you get a culture going you won’t have to replace it so definitely worth the efforts to track one down, they usually post well too.

Tossed some live daphnia from a refridgerator into a tub with old dechlorinated aquarium water. PH 6.3 after a week, i'm afraid nearly all are dead xD fed them with a pinch of rice+pea+algae powder. the baby shrimp and bladder snails in there seem to be fine *shrugs* soooo... you recommend hard tap water then?

Don’t use dechlorinator it kills daphnia

You added crush what at the bottom? I wasn't sure the word you used?

Coral, but a little bit of potting mix will help too but only a small hand full
