I'm curious if there is some edge transitioning that must take place once the bow goes down as mine often pops back out. Your next video could be what to do once you get onto the bow or how to progress onto a flat water cartwheel. Thanks for adding the troubleshooting tips. Can't wait to get back into the pool.

Hey Nick, thanks for video! Is this move harder in a Rockstar compared to something more slicier? I'm guessing yes. Any tips for a smaller paddler in a Rockstar? Do I have to muscle and edge it more? Have a hard time with this one!

as soon as you get it vertical, make sure your paddle is deep enough to allow you to push down or pull up on it. if your stern starts to drop, pull up on paddle to get back to balanced position. if you start to go past vertical, push down to bring the nose back under you. i hope that makes sense. the trick is learning how deep the paddle must be, just deep enough for resistance, but not so deep that you cant push it down when needed.

There are plenty of videos on kickflips off waves but make a video of the move similar to a kickflip but land 180° and more of a freewheel.

upon going into bow stall, i typically get shot back into a stern stall. i can’t find how to hold or even get into the bow stall, any tips?

Try adding some water to the bow of your boat. Add a whole bunch, find the stall point, and then continually take out water until you can do it without any water.

Another thing I’d say is that if you go too far back on the bow up stroke it can throw you off balance Luckily I’m past this stage and a couple years back got the bow stall without the first half of the double pump, not very useful, just fun to challenge others with
