If you can't french braid-- TRY this braid! If you can do a simple three strand braid, you are set! Here's the details for this braid:

I tried this hair style and it fell down within an hour. So my question is... How do you get the braid to stay tight? How long is her hair? Do you need a certain length of hair for this hair style?

Her hair is to her waist, and it doesn't have to be that long, but length is good--it just adds to the overall look, but medium length works too. Shorter hair = shorter braid. :)

I always have trouble with this because the pieces of hair that I weave through the original braid always slide out. Any advice?

Are they on the shorter side? If they are that could definitely be harder, but once the ends of them are secured lower down in the braid, they should stay in. This is usually after you've added all the hair from the head and are further down the braid. Good luck!!
