Thanks so much I finally got the handle pass but now when I land I either go forward or just let go of rope I mostly fall forward and it really sucks ...

Well done dude. Handle pass is most of the battle. Now you just have to be prepared for the landing. Believe you will ride out, bend your knees and look up for the shore and you should be laughing!

I like theese kind of videos but I dont undstand the lingo. What is a progressive edge?
@ballyhassadventures5 жыл бұрын
schubbel thanks for the comment. Progressive edge is one you will here a lot. It basically means you are always building an edge. Think of it on a scale. If 1 is you riding straight with your board completely flat on the water and 10 is you at your max raley edge cut. For a progressive edge you want to increase you edge 1 point at a time. 1,2,3,4 etc. the biggest thing is never go too hard on a approach to anything where you go straight to 8 and then back to 4 on the scale before you hit the obstacle it will create havoc with line tension and balance. Start on an edge that you might not make it and keep adding until you get your timing perfect to flatten just before the obstacle hit. That will build consistency on approach and allow you to put the actual trick tips into play more efficiently 🤘🤘🤘 best of luck with it

I keep losing the handle when I do this. Any advice?
@ballyhassadventures8 жыл бұрын
Jimmy, this tends to be all about the pull of the handle and where you pull the handle to. Next time think about pulling the handle to your back hip. Or lifting your back hip to the handle. If you can get the handle there it will build consistency as to where the handle will be when you reach around for the handle pass. Pull back with both hands also before you search for the pass. Best of luck!
