Marcus Falden I’ve looked into it. I’ve also been talking to a couple guys that have just swapped in the lsd from a g37. Pretty simple and about 1/3 of the price of the z1. Maybe down the line!

@@SpeedCultureStudios do it. I got the entire unit as I don't have the time or tools to do the pumpkin change out. I also track the car and hit the track often. The torsen diff makes the car feel like an M3.

ATC is only shut off in "personal" mode even when you shut it off in the settings. Just a heads up.

That’s exactly right. I always drive in personal mode for that reason. You’ll go through brake pads much quicker driving with it on so sticking in personal mode is a good idea!

It won’t disable the awd. You still need to unplug it in the back.

Do you know if disabling the AWD on the Q50 to make is RWD will affect the front part of the transmission?... Besides disabling the front drive.

There are still mechanical components spinning as far as I know even though the electronic aspect is disabled, so I would say it is not great for the car to stay like that long-term.

Jordan N The system resets after you shut the car off and turn it back on. When you start the car up, the light will be on for about 10 seconds and will shut off by itself.

Have you heard any q50s? With a muffler delete, if so how do you like the sound of it. Also for anyone reading this. I want a q50 but im debating weather getting 3.0t, the 3.7L or the hybrid. Someone please help

Q50s sounds the same as any Q50 with a muffler delete. 3.7 with a muffler delete sounds good. 3.0t sounds not so good. As far as which to get, it depends on what you’re going for. If you plan to modify and tune and want big power numbers, go 3.0t. If you want a solid, reliable long lasting engine with nice power and nice exhaust tone, get the 3.7.

Does the traction and slip still get turned back on if you try to drift the car? I know with my old G35 I have to physically remove the power cable of abs block to keep traction systems from turning back on

I’ve honestly never tried to drift the car or even spin it all the way around but I have gotten a little sideways a couple of times and it feels like the car is trying to bring it back.

Nah it’s RWD. There is a plug in the trunk-I want to say drivers side-that can be disconnected which disables awd. I’ve seen a few guys do it, but I’m not 100% sure of process.

I'm thinking about getting a q50 but everyone is doing 1 wheel burnouts how did you get your open diff to do a 2 wheeler? I don't know much about rear end but I hear q50 open diff socks compared to g37 lsd
