its not ping related really I can do it with low and extremely high ping its about timing and I do use it in fights I use the tripe dash tech now

I think you are high ping. This tech is ping dependant: the tech is done by pressing a move, but when you press a move there is a very short amount before the move is done. So during this amount you press q for a dash, and it does immediately the dash, not like the moves or m1, there no amount of time between the moment you press q, and the moment you dash. So if you are high ping, it's harder to do the tech because the amount between the moment you press 1, 2, 3, 4 or a m1 (moves and punches) and the moment between the move begin is shorter. So this tech is likely for low ping.
