From what I’ve seen and experienced, you need to really stretch your arm outwards and have an explosive motion with the wrist for the speed.

Is it okay to have a heavy bat with long pimples? I had to switch to extra heavy, around 190 grams altogether. It seems a bit hard to to move quickly for long pips.
