Another tip: don't rush! Take your time to get the feel of the kick. Then you can gradually increase your speed and power. No one told me this and for a long time I just could not get it. However, a new instructor was watching me and pointed out that I was rushing. Took me a while to not rush, but once I did I got the feel of it and then increased my speed and power. When done right, this kick not only covers a lot of distance but has amazing power. Thanks for the vid.

The “bad” way in tip to is the useful variation of the tornado kick in Muay Thai or mma, since you use your hips more there’s more force and I find it easier to hit with my shin with 🤷🏽♂️ (random Muay Thai guy here 😂)
