You need to create a surface for the triangle. Then adapt that surface. Use coordinates or create the surface manually.

I would like to refine the mesh in two regions in 3D that intersect. Is there a way I can do that by creating the cell registers?

You should try the face split option and do the mesh refinement at the particular region. For more details regarding the procedure, watch our tutorial 1 on flow through a convergent divergent nozzle.

 Hi, I am trying to model an evaporative cooling pad on ANSYS Fluent. I have a pad with water flowing on top of it and has direct contact with hot ambient air. I have been doing literature search on how to model the setup as such but there aren't much information regarding that. I understand that I would have to do a multiphase flow modeling of water-air contact. I am totally new to Fluent and I do not know how to proceed with the problem. I would be so grateful if someone could help me out here. Thanks in advance
