If you don't have the key for the top part, get T-20 security bits and unscrew the panel. Unplug the block wires until das is on the screen, the follow the same instructions but instead of the top pannel closing, just plug the bigger block wires back in. (Should only unplug/plug in the outter two of the three wires)

Going to a different laundromat isn't an option for people who don't drive but live in an apartment that shafts them on laundry. 50 cents to wash, 50 cents to dry would be both acceptable and turn plenty of profit for the owner (less people going elsewhere, that's for damn sure!). This $7.50 per load crap makes me want to take a stick of dynamite to those fucking machines. Instead, I'll even up for all of the money I have wasted over the past 7 months.

Yea that's the problem is the driers, they don't go for long enough so you need multiple cycles.

Yes. Many landlords are leaches that feed off the poor. My landlord didn't fix my overflowing toilet for two week and I had to clean excrement from the floor several times. There was also a gaping hole in my wall through which mice would climb into my apartment (good thing I had a cat). It took them 6 months to fix it only after I threatened to not pay any more rent. I have caught my landlord and maintenance on camera entering my apartment without my consent. I'm a college student who didn't have time or funds to go through the legal trouble of getting out of my lease. Getting free laundry is more than fair. Edit: I forgot the "okay boomer"
