I'm tutoring my little cousin right now and this video helped a lot. It was awesome! I only have one problem. When you put +2 in the parentheses, it looked like it was addition. So, instead of putting the + somewhere where it looks like adding, put it somewhere above or below the number so we still know that you're trying to make sure people know it's a positive but not trying to make it look like you're adding somewhere weird. Thanks a whole bunch by the way. Also, if you take my advice, it would help a whole bunch more! 😄

OHHHHH..... i get it now.. thank you alot this helped me learn. Because since you have to combine like terms and you have to take the operation symbol thats in front of the # , i would get confused because i didnt know if you had to add or subtract but this helped alot.. Thank you! I wish you were my math teacher. You could explain better than my math teacher.

I am in college and trying to improve on my math. Understanding how to do problems when the solution is easily explained makes a big difference. Either I just wasn't paying attention and had math amnesia during high school or this teacher is just doing a hell of a good job in her explanation.

What if we have a negative and a negative doesn't that mean positive so if we have an equation such as -5(3x -4) do we turn that into a positive or keep it as a negative and distribute. Because one you distribute you get -15x -20 is that correct?
