You can tell all the Americans comments. I’m grateful I’ve been able to live in Europe and other places that argue about hair but actually get this braid everyone’s hair with no drama.

Lol I am a American and it is funny how other people who don't know what goes on over here people who look like me get bullied and EVERYTHING FOR OUR HAIR AND THE WHITE WOMEN COME TAKE IT AND CHANGED THE NAME AND THINK THE MADE IT. AILLY RABBIT. AND THIS IS FOR WHITE WOMEN ALL OVER
@LilacMorelli Жыл бұрын
@@eons6086 they’re Dutch braids? They’ve always been Dutch braids, you can’t just change the name because you’re from another country. They’re Dutch braids with extensions, they are done at children’s birthday parties in Europe and have nothing to do with African box braids.
@smooches910 Жыл бұрын
@@LilacMorelli you are right they have nothing to do with African box braids cause they are African cornrows
@shatiralawrence4268 Жыл бұрын
@@LilacMorelli When the Dutch enslaved Africans they STOLE land, resources, culture & art. The art of African hair braiding culture included. The white superiority complex couldn't allow a concession therefore they lied & claimed ownership. France did the same thing. The appropriated names French & Dutch braids originated from Africa. Cultural appropriation is claiming another culture by ERASING it's origin. This woman obviously watched a ton of Black braiding channels. She didn't invent that technique. Why did she use "AFRO TEXTURED" hair? KANEKELON brand EXTENSIONS? That alone is all the proof you need. This video was copied from African braiding via KZbin videos intended for African women only. Nobody would care if white people would credit the originators...Your people CAN'T do that.
