It’s part of my Dipole hat pattern which you can purchase here! www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dipole-hat I think it’s always a good idea to have something to go off of when you’re doing brioche (aka fisherman’s rib) decreases as they can be easily messed up. 😆 Good luck and dont hesitate to ask more questions!

Are there any mathematical principles to how many decreases in a round? I'm wanting to decrease the crown on a 1x1 ribbed beanie but there doesn't seem to be much online regarding how to do it :(

I don’t but if you search for a brioche right leaning decrease it should work the same.
