YES Sir - they do indeed work! …so grateful for your knowledge of modification and amplification. YOU teach it and teach YOUR teachers to teach it. I really don’t see it anywhere else in the Hot Yoga world.

…hummmm. Maybe - however, I have taken Hot Yoga classes over the last 10 years in Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, Illinois, and in Texas and the only time I have ever seen modification is Barkan Method of Hot Yoga. Which to me is very sad because it’s needed. The benefits of the posture are needed. ❤️ Jo

Once you are in full position, all the way down, are we trying to keep the back flat, or keep natural arch in the back?

Good question......The lower back will have a natural arch..Do not try and bring the lower back to the floor...just relax into the Pose as much as possible!! 🙏❤🙏

I like effortlessness! so just hang out ? Is there any benefit of engaging the upper body more by pulling your elbows, pressing them down to lift into higher bridge between middle back and floor? And also tucking the chin in more to get that bandha? Or is it theh focus the front quads and knees stretching?

Yes … either sit on a block and don’t go back …. Or use the modification don’t go back to far….with your hands to the side to take the pressure off 🙏🙏
