You don't need the nail polish remover or water. Place the laser image face down on the clay, place a tile over it and bake it. You can color the laser image with high quality pencils or markers, too before you bake it. Peel off the paper and voila! The image quality is MUCH BETTER if you bake it. Works with all laser printers, color and black and white.

Thank you so much, Sue. I printed my images on Laser Jet printer. It has to be laser jet, not inkjet. It is kind of nice because you can totally personalize your pendants with photos of places or family members. Have a beautiful day!

I'm so glad that it worked for you with the nail polish remover! I have seen it work for others but I could not get it to work for anything! I wonder if it depends what brand of clay you are using? The gel pen is just something that I picked up at Micheals. I will see if I can find a link for it! Thank you so much for watching!! Glad you enjoyed the project!

@@joannascorner4478 I thought that as well. One question though. Why just Lazerjet and not inkjet? What's the difference?
@joannascorner44783 жыл бұрын
Good question! Ink jet didn't work for me and when I watched others do it I realized that they were using laser jet . When I tried it, it worked like a miracle! But let me know if the ink jet worked for you. I almost think that is trial and error. I watched people doing image transfer with the nail polish and it looked amazing but I simply couldn't get it done. Let me know if ink jet worked for you.

@@joannascorner4478 I don't have LaserJet so I might try the inkjet, but since you tried it and it didn't work, I won't be have too high of hopes of it working. But like you said, trial and error.

White clay is so difficult to work with for me! That's the precise reason why you don't see me make a lot of white pendants. I use it all the time for alcohol ink but not that much by itself. The black and white pendant that I just made took so much cleaning on my part. I made sure that the surface was super clean and washed my hands between handling different pieces of clay. Its amazing how your hands get dirty handling other colors and if even a tiny bit is on your hand,yeap, you got it, it will be on your white clay. So keeping super clean work space is so important. I will be making another white pendant soon and I will absolutely mention it. When it comes to dust, once it's in, it's in. I don't keep my clay uncovered unless I work with it. I keep it in little plastic containers or in a plastic bag . I even sometimes cover it with clear wrap if I will be leaving a project on the side for few hours. So , did I mention that white clay is difficult to keep clean? Let's see if someone else chimes in with some good ideas.

I love, love,love your projects Ludmila! I used water to do the transfer as the nail polish remover didn't work. I also colored with the copics after it was baked to get a more defined image. I have seen a lot of people doing different transfers, sorry if mine looks similar to yours. I didn't mean to offend you and will go back and watch your project again. If it does look the same, I will absolutely mention you in my description.
