Happy to have found this channel. As a Brit expat. coming back for a UK visit after 12 years, I have 5 days to spend in the city with a teen who wants to sightsee. I'm not originally from London but thought I knew enough about it... having watched a few of your other videos it turns out that so much is new I really will feel like a tourist! If your'e a good enough actor you don't have to pay to pee, I was at Euston station last year, about to drop my 10p to take a leak, when this guy comes running over, he's all panicky, hunched over, bouncing up and down and with a serious look on his face, and he goes "please I really have to go, really have to go, please" and the custodial guy lets him in for free! I've been practicing my really have to go look ever since.

Good video. Heres a little anecdote which maybe helpful for people. I was on a stayover in London and basically ran out of money with most of a day to kill. The hotel i was staying in had various leaflets about local events...I found a nearby (walking distance) exhibition dealing with the brain and brain surgery. A fascinating thing and I managed to enjoy a few hours there...and it was FREE

A couple more things to add on: 1) There is no need to pay ludicrous money to go up the Shard for a view over London. Instead, go to the very close nearby Guy's Hospital. You can still see all of the major London sights from thirty stories up, and almost no-one goes there to sightsee. I think there's another building somewhere around Fenchurch Street where you can also sightsee for free, but you need to book in advance, if memory serves. 2) If you're coming in from outside London, do remember that most (but not all) trains have toilets onboard. Use these before arriving if you can and you won't have to pay a penny or bother the pub landlord. As usual, first-class stuff, man. Do keep this up :)

There are free concerts sometimes in St Pauls. The tourist charge to St Pauls is expensive (and, to be honest, worth it if you really want to see the building). But if you just want to see the interior, the free concerts are great.

It is mentioned below - "somewhere around Fenchurch Street" is a free Sky Garden in Walkie Talkie, the best time to go there is in the afternoon, the place would be less crowded. Some free things from what I experienced while staying in London fro two weeks: The Barbican Estate has a great winter garden (or how should it be called), with a variety of palms and other tropical flora, nice cactuses and succulents as well Organ recitals in Westminster abbey every Sunday at 17:45 Apart from Walkie Talkie you can get an excellent view of the city from the 10th floor of Blavatnik building in Tate Modern, and also from the roof of the department store One New Change, which is next to St Paul's Cathedral, the best thing here is that the roof is opened at night! St Paul's dome lit up just in front of you! The Ned - my favorite, a brand-new 5-star fancy hotel located in Midland Bank building and opened nearly two months ago, with bars and restaurants, in the City of London. But it's not as it sounds, you can just pop in and listen to live jazz or whatever the band is playing, and overall enjoy the design and the atmosphere. You even might be lucky to come across some celebrities, I have met Elle Fanning twice there!

BTW, being a lover of history, did you know the Imperial War Museum as built in an insane asylum? The building was the central section of Bedlam, London's most infamous insane asylum. Ironic, don't ya think that a museum about War is in an old insane asylum.

Surrey Docks Farm is a great place to visit and free to get into. Go pet a goat. Great for the kids. Great place to go for breakfast or lunch too, although that's obviously not free, but supports the farm so can't recommend highly enough and the food is good. Also, anyone travelling around the Heathrow area, there are a number of free bus routes, which might come in handy for someone www.heathrow.com/file_source/Company/Static/PDF/Heathrowcommuter/travel_around_Heathrow.pdf If you're going to walk, get the free Map My Walk app and see how many calories you're burning after that big breakfast at Surrey Quays Farm. You can even take on some of the app's walking challenges for a bit of fun.

To Tourists: Don't be a cheapskate. Save up first and then come here. Our economy needs the money. And absolutely don't use a private business's toilets (especially small non-chains) without purchasing something first or after. Their toilets are for customers.
