How to do my first footswitch on a Kitesurf foil

After kite foiling now for one year, I definitely wanted to learn the foot switch. I've tried it now and then, but it felt so impossible, that I never really trained it. Now, it's the time to learn it. See some of the countless tries and then finally how it worked. Of course, it's not a save move so far but it's getting better. It definitely feels super cool. Learning new tricks is always a challenge. What is your experience here? I enjoy the most, doing what I can do :-)… Next time, I feel motivated to learn something new, it will be sitting on a foil and the tack…😅. Keep beeing joyful😎🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

i can do footswich finally, too. todays mission is heel to heel tack. this is more difficult....ha 😂

I'm now in the same process of learning foot switch and, of course, crashed countless times. I'm regular and managing to complete most of my tries from heel to toe on this side but returning from toe to heel is harder for me. In your video, it seems you've been trying to switch in just one step (a small jump). For me, what worked best was doing a 2-steps switch. Bring the back foot to join in the front and throw the old front foot to the back. If you do it quickly, you'll end up in a more stable stance.

I'm learning this in Finland. Succeeded few times this summer and now the winter is approaching and there is rarely suitable weather. But then again there always is the next year and the next trick. 🤪 Sweet video angle and quality from the lines, which camera is it?
