How To Do One Handed F2L

In this video, I'll teach you how to do one handed F2L properly by doing several examples and explaining my thought process for each decision I make. OH F2L emphasizes certain skills much more than with two hands, such as EO, how pairs influence later pairs, and look ahead. Hopefully, this video helps you get a better grasp of all of that.

Its only better if you can table abuse effectively

as a roux solver myself and after watching this video I would say that roux is better for OH. You almost never have to use L moves because cmll is the only step of the method that require you to use them. You don't have to ever rotate the cube for the most part and move count is a lot lower. That's about all I can tell you so if you're interested to learn more check out Kian Mansour's channel

Roux is better for OH, I have a 11.22 PB single, and I am not even sub 10 two handed yet. Table abuse is not that hard with Roux, you only need it for L6E.

BrodytheCuber I mean that video was eye opening and it’s just showing that you are basically talking to deaf people. I am trying to get faster at 3x3 and see if I can get good at one handed so yes your videos are very helpful because I don’t do index finger r prime, learned how to do oh fingertricks, etc. so if I’m used to doing something and am watching a tutorial like this I try to learn the things it teaches me until I get good and used to them. I feel bad people don’t listen to these very helpful videos but keep up the great work

I agree, I mean your official 3x3 average is better than mine now :P so really I'm not the person to complain Anyways, instead of the L' U' R U R' L thing, although in this case it ended up being fewer moves because it setup the last one (don't know if you intended it), I feel like R U R' y' and continuing 2-gen from there could've been faster considering regrips The blockbuilding was pretty smart, except I'd do U2 R2 U R U' R2, but I think it's just as good. D R' U2 R D' would've setup another pair but of course it's not that easy to see in a real solve so I don't blame you haha To avoid dots instead of rotating twice try U2 r' U R U R' U' r On the other hand you did some cases better than I most probably would have so keep going
