@Theartistblock2 жыл бұрын
@@jennieredrose5819 before you download any of the books, lets see if i can help you really fast. id hate to have you grab the book up just for this little info lol. Ok ok ok so when we're locating the "apex" of any rounded shape, we are considering the "apex" to be the highest point RELATIVE to the direction of the 3D. At 5:27, had i drawn the 3D coming off the form lower than the apex then every part of the shape between my new line, and the actual apex would be missing 3D , it would look flat. If i drew my 3D line, above where the actual apex was then we wouldn't see the 3D line at all because it would have been behind the form. that means the apex has to be at the exact point where it's no longer behind the form, AND where it doesn't leave any of the form without 3D. if you'd like, reach out on Instagram and i can draw an example for you (just let me know it's you so im not confused lol). i do tons of critiques over there daily .
@essjayem64984 жыл бұрын
Something is bugging me, especially right here.....at 5:40 in.... I thought the definition of the word Apex meant the Highest Point..... Where your pencil and ruler are.... is not at the highest point. ""
@Theartistblock4 жыл бұрын
for 3d and perspective, apex refers to the highest point relative to the perspective or the angle of 3d. This is how it's commonly taught and referred to as. its understood the apex is contextualized by the direction the 3d is meant to go. This is super evident when looking at 1 point perspective, you can kinda draw a cone from the vanishing point to the "apex" of the circle where the lines would protrude from. if we imagine the vanishing point as an eye then this point where the lines come from would be the highest points (the "apex) the vanishing point could see.

Its actually called a block out its a basic letter font. Calling it 3d confuses people the angle doesnt make it 3d its actually 2d unless with multiple letters in one peice you would change an angle giving you a third dimension. Those letters. Show a flat panel with one side thats 2d . to learn 3d look up 3d blocked. It helps to study fonts.

@Theartistblock3 жыл бұрын
Nope not for isometric 3d being what graffiti uses. Graffiti's traditional 3D is pretty simple and basic, and uses isometric 3d instead of traditional 1 point perspective at very least like other art forms. You can certainly use 1 point perspective on graffiti, Iv even done 2 - 5 point perspective pieces of graffiti but this tutorial is for basic 3d

I hit the link for the $2.50 premium PDF and it took me to a book for $10. Where is the PDF for $2.50?
@Theartistblock2 жыл бұрын
oh thankyou for bringing this to my attention, i made these vids so long ago i had forgotten that i gave a specific price. Short answer, the free and the $2.50 no longer exist. Over the past year or two I dedicated tons of time an money into upgrading the books with more and more chapters and to pay for these improvements I had to raise the price. These books were written by me with no editing, or knowledge of book writing so i made them pretty cheap as a result, they were also just a few pages. The e books initially were just a transcription of the video and that was really it, with the $2.50 version containing a few chapters more of info not found in the video. Now we've added lots to the book and we're currently getting all of the books fully professionally edited.
