My mom naturally transitioned into doing quiet time when my sibling and I stopped napping at an early age. Quiet time followed our entire family almost everyday throughout our childhood and now, even as an adult I still have one :) It's a healthy habit and a gift of self care for everyone. I love your tip about giving positive affirmations to children before you leave them

I did this to my 2 year old and 4 year old as my 4 year old doesn’t nap anymore. So he needs it. It took a while for him to understand. My 4 year old loved it! So it’s working…. 50 mins in with a couple of times them disrupting me. So thank you! It’s worked and made my day better ☺️

Wow, this was so helpful. I have a 2 and 4 year old and I come back and they have crept into each other's rooms and are playing. At first I was like well as long as they are quiet. But that is not giving any boundaries and. Thank you for the ideas. I just went into their rooms, got a timer for my son and set it and gave special animals for them to play with and it is working. Wowwwww Amaaaazzinngggg
