Thank you Chris for making these videos! I passed 2nd time on Friday with 7 minors and had this exact maneuver! Can't believe it still!

I'm 35 next month. I'm dreading my test. I can do these manoeuvres just can't seem to do them the way my instructor asks. I don't check over my shoulder enough and use my mirrors mostly. I think I'm to old maybe, and years of picking up other folks bad habits added along with my own its difficult to get out of. I fear the worst on my test. My advice to folk as soon as you are aged to drive and can afford it start taking lessons. Thanks for the post. very helpful
@jamesbrooks13027 жыл бұрын
scott walker wouldn't worry much am 31 just passed a week ago. can do the manovers in my instructors car no problem. but in my own car I can't do it. just keep practicing somewhere quiet
@Tonefish15787 жыл бұрын
scott walker Hi, just wondering how you got on these months later? I'm also an adult learner (38) and really struggling with this move some 3 lessons of working on it. It's the only manouvre that I've just not managed to beat and is now effecting my overall confidence as I'm approaching my test in just over a month.

It must be a trend being an older learner and this manoeuvre I'm 35 and struggling with this. Got my test Wednesday and hoping I don't get this one lol

Hi Chris thank you so much for this helpful video. Yesterday I praticed bay parking to the left. When I got used to it my instructor asked me to do bay parking to the right. I got the car within the white lines but sometimes.I had more gap on the left side. He asked me to go forward and fix this I did this several times and sometimes I just made it worse until I realised I could see better on the left hand mirror if I lowered it slightly. This definitely helped. I also found your video on parallel parking very helpful as I never could understand what a 45⁰ degrees looked like and which mirror to look for it and what to do next if I saw it. Your video on this manoeuvre easily explained this to me. One thing I have got the hang of is the parallel parking and even when .I restarted my lessons after 9 months of lockdown, I still remembered how to do this manoeuvre. I would be very pleased if you could explain the difference between the right and left bay parking. Thank you Hina 😁💗

My driving instructor taught me exactly the way you just explained. Don’t know why I get nervous when it comes to parking. I was doing all fine during my practice lessons. Hopefully I would be able to do well next time. I have seen your show me tell me questions video too it helped me during my practice lessons and of course test and specially you’re roundabouts video was very helpful for learner or a new driver like me. I would like to thanks world driving so much finally i have passed last Wednesday . I thought I will never drive because my last theory certificate was expired than I had to re theory test and pass than practical test . From world Drving video I have learned so much and even I can’t describe . Some of video was so helpful and effective. However, one thing I would suggest Who is taking lesson and giving practical exam soon or later don’t lose hope everyone can pass we you can not pass . I tell you my story I didn’t have any kind of lessen from other people like friends or family members or anyone even I didn’t ask for it ,because sometimes they will take advantage and say why you don’t pass everyone can pass something like that .so I have avoided those kind of thing. Some of the Tips will be very helpful Tips 1. Exam day don’t practice more than half hour you could be lose your confidence 2. Try to talk with examiner rather than seat like rubout and follow the instructions.like when he or she she say turn left or right you say ok mam or Sir thanks how is your day so far something it will reduce your anxiety or anxious 3. On the exam day try to put some casual dress might help 4. Always try to mirror every 10-15 second on the exam day and show examiner you are confident you can drive . 5.make sure after pul up on the left before move of make sure make sure every time cheek the blind spot . I wish you all the best and everyone pass . Thanks
