I have had chickens for 7 years I been dreaming of a dream chicken house we been building for at least a month have to finish painting and we're using old bathroom stalls for the floor there a cream color like marble and my chickens house is pink and antique white trim it's a cottage I'm loving it I'm been looking for bedding and coop stuff

That is really a beautiful chicken coop! How much would you estimate the cost to build it? Do you have coyotes in your area? I have the same fence and coyotes have taken some of my chickens. Last week, a hawk came in and killed a chicken. I'm planning on putting some shade sails over the area for protection.

How many bags of bedding do you use each month? What food do you feed your chickens?

We do pellets but they also free range and eat a lot of grass. We use about 1 bag a month of hemp if not less

Hemp is SO expensive. It's like 4-5x the price of pine.

Stir the bedding daily, and add a little bit of new bedding to the mixture every 1-2 weeks
