I rope dropped HS recently (November 10th) and was shocked at how I was able to go into the park because the holding area used to be outside just after security but before yuu scan your ticket. they were letting everyone in and i was so confused but realized that they were scanning for resort guests at the individual rides/lands like how MK does. I was very thrown off but love the change because you get to hang out and shop and you're not just standing there packed together like a can of sardines roasting in the sun.

That was my HS day and Rise was down, Tower, Mickey & Minnie all at the same time. We got a redemption pass for Rise, but left to go to Epcot because even after watching 3 shows, it still wasn't working. Just bad luck for us that day🤷‍♀️

I was wondering if we didn't realize it was some special day or something but the crowds were unbelievable. we got there about 50 minutes before park open and the front was already jam packed. I've only rope dropped Hollywood Studios once before that (about a year ago) and decided I would never do it again because it was horrible. but recently I wanted to try again and the crowds were unbelievable so early on! it's my least favorite park honestly because it's just out of control and so damn hot!!! there's no trees anywhere! it's all open courtyard, ugh.

With Remy’s being added to the list of rides with single rider lineups, I think it would be interesting to see a video of how much time is saved between the posted wait time and the single rider actual wait time (maybe have one person in each lineup? Stand by vs. Single rider) I know some work really well and some( RnR) really don’t lol.

We did early entry on Veterans Day and walked onto Rise and were off the ride before 8:30! They let folks in super early so we got to do a lot with our early entry time it was great.

I recommend using the single rider line for Rise of the Resistance. Just last Sunday my husband and I only waited 20 minutes.

They let us in early too and we waited at Rise in line until 9. They kept us out of Galaxy’s Edge right at the entrance. Literally on and off in 20 minutes. It was amazing. We rode Rise and Smugglers Run by 9:45

As far as the new rope drop it seems rougher because you dont know where resort guests are at as far as lines go. You just choose one and hope for the best.

yeah.....but if I'm rope dropping an attraction I DO NOT want to wait 45 minutes! That's the whole point of rope dropping, is the shorter wait. Also, if you're staying at the Holiday Inn-Disney Springs (official hotel but off-property) can you still book LL 7 days prior, or is it only 3?

I like seeing Angie do it partially because she goes about it like a regular person. Like if that was really your trip, you wouldn’t go as hard as Sage does. She gives me a more believable idea of what can be done.

He had to scan in because it was his first lightning lane and after you scan in then the tiers disappear and you can book whatever you want (as long as there are times!)

Not a fan of the park entry test. It seems like it's just one more benefit being taken away from resort guests. It will really cut into the early entry time for resort guests. Now resort guests will only get one ride in before lines get long. Was there still a separate line for resort guests to scan into the park? If not another reason it will chip away at early entry
