Stretching is a very underrated but highly important part of exercise. I'm glad he included it too, my mom is a massage therapist, and she has to work on so many people who ruin their bodies because they never stretch before exercising.

This was indeed helpful. I already knew the basic spin, but I couldn’t figure out the back one. It might’ve been a little harder because my saber has a larger handle than average… but regardless, with a little variation to what I do, I could perform all of that. Once again very helpful! @@hearts4kayla check the LGT saber store on ali-expres. I have a couple of their sabers, even a neo-pixel version. They are legit, well build, and cheap. I got a neopixel saber for the same price as my “led” saberforge saber. There is some reviews on youtube aswel, worth a watch.

Thanks for a short helpful little video! I’m an “OLDER” collector with several Disney Legacy Lightsabers and one of the original ones made for Mark Hamill during filming in the late 70’s. The reason why it took me a while to figure out figure 8 is because I thought you had to drop it but carry the saber outside your arm with your thumb, but it turns out you just have to hold it with your whole hand and bring it around. But overall I figured out how to spin this thing perfectly. BTW you are a really good teacher and I hope you can post more in the future.

For those of my friends learning this spin - try it first with some small cylindrical thing, and not actually 3 feet long lightsabers. It might help if you keep hitting yourself.

Try different wrist techniques. Play around w it, time it differently till u feel the "ooohhhh" and then practice like that till its secured

It took me a few runs through the video, but I can now do it. Warning to anyone about to try this: Hayden and Jazz are great at this move. It will take a lot of practice to get anywhere near as smooth. The best part? My daughter makes Star Wars videos at home. I look forward to teaching her.

I understand the whole needless thing but to put my mind at rest I like to think about it this way: It shows how their skills were so matched that when doing the spin they were looking for a mistake in the opponent for an opportunity to strike but ended up striking the same in the end. I watched tour basic spin tutorial and after a couple days of practicing with a broom stick, I was able to pick it up faster and easier and less mistakes. Then I came to this video, and I think its great, but I am gonna practice the figure 8 spin before obi-ani, so it's not too difficult, and I will know the movements better. The only problem I can see me having from self-recordings, is my stance, like I stand shoulder width apart, but my other hand will be moving or my head or my shoulder, and I am trying to just move the arm I am using to spin, not my whole body. Any tips, and recommendations Master Jazz?
