They definitely did because they curve now, they also do more damage while the enemy is on the ground than in bt3 where they did next to nothing. and the cutscene even plays for stuff like father-son-kamehameha while opponent is grounded, does less damage than normal but it's a safe hit

Just look at how players in Overwatch use characters like Pharah Mercy or E Honda in Street fighter 6 and lower ranks. In Apex we had Octane Rev for a while even at high level, the list goes on.

Easy to dodge. Either vanish right befofe the attack lands or press square and X at the same time if the opponent is within striking range. Or you can z dash behind them before you get hit by an ultimate attack. Huge orb ultimates won't land if you are right in there face, it'll fly over you.

yes technically but it's multi hit so you'd have to vanish every single frame which is beyond difficult. If you have a character with afterimage and use it before he uses his ult it'll dodge every frame. look it up on KZbin it's really funny to see how fast the vanishes are.

Beams far away and in a knockback arent a problem. If its far away, just fly away. If its in a knockback, you fucked enough to let them spark and get hit by a knockback. You deserve to take that damage. And dodging should be hard. The point is that low rank people spam it point blank and people just thought it was broken.
