Totally agree with that rant at the beginning. There's a homogenization happening among all the weapons and ammo types that it no longer feels like you're making significant strategic decisions when making your loadout. Every weapon now needs every other ammo type and it takes a lot of nuance away for the overall weapons. On a related note, I don't like the new pain sense that much because it took away a niche that poison ammo had. Now it just feels even more of the same as burning and bleed ammo than before.

Imo I still want Fire Arrows with the Bow (like cloth wrapped around the tip of the arrow gasoline dripped), but really all the mechanical ""inventions" " like the Bomb Launcher are good editions to the game and Crytek should bring more out after all being the 19th century and the dawn of the Industrial Revolution. Anyway, great video as always Rex.

@ that’s what I’ve been saying all this time, people keep bringing up meta weapons as if a doltch is gonna help with their bad aim, and not even going for headshots just body shots and they whiff every shot, that’s why I decided to use bow, sparks, and pretty much weapons that have 1 shot chambered, with silence bornheim/nagant, I just think they’re cool looking.

as a new player myself I am in love with Hunt's balance, I always had a huge problem with different metas in competitive games since it always felt forced to be playing in a certain way or have less chance at winning otherwise. Hunt makes it seem like the strongest gun in the game is the one you are most comfortable with. Really feels like skill, experience and tactics are much more important in Hunt than what you run

Steel balls are cool and unique being a silenced shotgun and way less clunky than the explosive harpoon It's Crytek slowly releasing every custom ammo for every gun that disappoints me. They got rid of custom ammo difference between officer and new army as well as pax and scottfield for example. Crown never was in a dire need of slugs nor flechette. Why put HV on centennial with already extremely fast bullets? Etc, etc, just content bloat Hope they remove like a a third of custom ammo they added in the last year to make loadout building interesting and make weapons more specialized. The promised removal of Dolch dd and fmj didn't happen yet...

the real problem in gaming isn’t glitches or poor studios, it’s the players, players like that poison trio, u had a great point in asking do people even want a gunfight anymore, I get people can play a game how they want but let’s be real, players like myself are running around with bows and katanas wrecking shit, even more so with Rex, players now a days, and not even just in hunt, have no integrity whatsoever and it’s so disappointing, hop on a multiplayer game and you WILL find a surprising amount of poor players that use whatever edge they can get instead of raw skill
