One thing that is important to mention to hit people twice with the beta QUICKER, you have to turn your camera around 180 degrees and press beta quickly. Pressing beta quickly after the first hit and then turning around, prevents you from doing a really long WIDE turn and wasting time. Doing the second beta makes a really short turn, but you have to press your beta in order for a shorter turn around to happen.

I definitely recommend sometimes using the gamma to maintain altitude and cooldowns if you go up, just aim down and use the gamma to push yourself back up a bit. Also good for dodging others at times.

Wouldn’t say it’s a weakness so much as it’ll make landing beta hits easier, more so just most opponents were outdoors. A lot of other characters shine excellently indoors too so he might still have a rough time. Tho I think strike shigaraki will always be a hard match up for shiggy no matter what

About Hawks, 100% not by any coincidence, his best counter is Twice, who just gone to the character ticket so go on and get yours if you didn't get Hawks (I got Twice and now I basically main him, he's so fun) About how to counter Hawks if Twice: Your beta clone can confuse Hawk's alpha tracking and it doesn't change targets fast enough to deal much damage to you If Hawk's hits you with his initial beta and goes on to Flight mode and flies towards you to beta attack you again you can use you beta clone spawning animation to knock him out of his flight (I ain't certain if this is the case but I think his gamma also interrupts him if you land it) And another tip, a good weak moment for Hawks as Twice is when you knockback him to the air, since most Hawks will get up early in the air to fly away, you have a short window to use gamma on him and continue the pressure

I actually upgrade my gamma and alpha first! Gamma is as mean as the beta, if not meaner because of its tracking. I am not really a good close range, so landing the betas is hard for me. Meanwhile the gamma's.....let's just say I snipe a guard break 90% of the time! And nobody expects a hawks to play without using his gamma, so everyone just stays on the ground and waits for hawks to go in for the beta. Since I never go in close range with hawks or use his beta, everyone is just a sitting duck for me. Unless I'm going against a twice,froppy, or rapid baku. They can actually catch up to hawks.
